The festival was an annual performance arts festival for children and young people, taking place in Laşi, Romania. This year the event celebrated its 10th anniversary.

The event featured delegates from 29 countries and territories, representing five continents. The art troupes brought to the festival a variety of performances in numerous art forms, such as circus, puppetry and short plays for children.

Meritorious Artist Ho Thi Thuy Tien participated in the ‘Vietnam in puppet’ show, including performing puppetry to traditional folk music, and introducing the creation of puppetry art from bamboo and rattan.

As well as being the only Vietnamese representative, Artist Thuy Tien was also the only Asian in attendance at the festival. Her performance was highly appreciated and was awarded with the Best Female Artist award.

Performed by artist Ho Thi Thuy Tien since 2013, ‘Vietnam in puppet’ has won many international prizes in Indonesia and Thailand.
